Equipment: Conditioning Annealing Machine (Injection Molding)

To remove residual stress, heat it at a constant temperature for a certain period of time, and then gradually lower the temperature to room temperature!

Generally, the annealing treatment of plastics is primarily aimed at relieving distortion. Many plastics are cooled while being pressed into molds under high pressure, which can lead to the occurrence of distortion, also known as residual stress. For precision parts where dimensions are critical, reducing this residual stress helps prevent warping and deformation. Additionally, in products that undergo processes involving solvents, such as painting, printing, or adhesion, preventing cracks from areas where residual stress remains is important. To eliminate this residual stress, the material is placed in an electric furnace or hot air dryer and heated at a constant temperature for a specific period, after which the temperature is gradually lowered to room temperature. This process is commonly referred to as "annealing treatment." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
